Hundreds of pounds of freshwater crawfish are brought to Bedford live and boiled on the spot. \nEtoufee\, red beans & rice\, chicken gumbo\, corn on the cob\, and potatoes are included in the spring feast. Dr. John Bower and Edna Curry not only bring everything (food & cooks) from Mississippi\, they also bring several family members and friends from Mississippi and Virginia to prepare and serve at the Crawfish Festival.\nAnd you can’t have a festival without live music! Get ready to move your feet to the rollicking music of zydeco music performed by Zydeco Crayz\, from DC. \nTicket Information:\n* $30 in advance\, $35 at the gate.
