The Bedford Boys Tribute Center will be hosting its 3rd Annual Ivy Wreath Laying ceremony at the Bedford Boys Memorial Stone on the west lawn of the County Courthouse in downtown historic Bedford. Precisely at 6:44pm the ceremony will conclude with the courthouse bell being rung in tribute to our beloved Bedford Boys killed in action and all churches in the county will ring their bells for one minute. The ceremony concluding time signifies June 6\, 1944\, the invasion date. Bring your children and grandchildren to show and teach them the history behind the statement that “Freedom is not Free” and our Bedford Boys will never be forgotten.

DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the first day of spring in Centertown Bedford! From 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.\, shop with over 20 vendors at the Bedford Farmer’s Market located at the pavilion on Washington St. (this is an outdoor market). From 10-11 a.m.\, there will be an Easter egg hunt with local downtown businesses.  Follow the event page for a list (and map) of participating businesses to be posted closer to the event date. There will be eggs filled with candy or other prizes\, and three of the businesses will have a special prize – a golden egg\, donated by Arthur’s Jewelry! \nFrom 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. there will be carriage rides\, sign up using this link. \nFrom 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. there will be mini photo sessions with the Easter Bunny at Bridge Street Studio (201 N.
