DESCRIPTION:Race 1 – https://www.bikereg.com/mtx-1\nRace 2 – https://www.bikereg.com/mtx-2\nWHAT IS Mountain Cross / MTX?\nThe “Mountain” part refers to many of the same aspects that you might encounter in a mountain bike race. There will be single track with rocks\, roots\, etc that will make up roughly 50% of the course. The other 50% of the course will consist of mixed surfaces such as grass paths\, gravel or pavement\, and double track dirt roads.\nThe “Cross” parts refers to the style of racing and variety of terrain the race combines with added elements of mountain biking and cyclocross. There may be barriers\, stairs\, or other obstacles that riders will have to navigate and as always\, good vibes! The races are short\, intense\, and loads of fun!\nWe have professional chip timing to get fast and reliable results! Beginners have 30 minutes to do as many laps as they can while the sport have 45 minutes and the experts have 60 minutes. We hold the tradition of letting people go out for the bonus lap if they make it in the timing zone before the clock hits 0! The winner is the person who does the most laps in the least amount of time.\nTiming is being handled by Jeremy Ramsey with MMG Endurance Sports! This event will be chip timed by Mountain Junkies! https://www.bikereg.com/filthy-50-dirty-30-unclean-15…\n \nCamping will be available FRIDAY\, SATURDAY\, and SUNDAY night! There are 16 spots with fire rings and there is a 1 vehicle limit per campsite for $5. If you need extra vehicles or space then there will be camping in the field with no fire ring for FREE. Bring the whole family\, this is gonna be a fun weekend of riding and racing! There are kids races for ages 2+\, beginner\, sport\, advanced sport\, expert/pro\, and even e-bike categories!\nThe race will start/finish at the Bike Park where camping will be. We will have tables so you can set up your aid station kit and we will also provide various snacks/drinks as well. A food ticket is built into your registration and can be redeemed the evening of the race at the food truck. Showers will be available both Saturday and Sunday evening.

SUMMARY:Family Hike at Falling Creek Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a family friendly hike that will start at the Bike Park at Falling Creek. When you get to the roundabout go left where the sign points to “pumptrack/bike park”. The hike will be about 2 miles consisting of easy singletrack trail and grass paths with the option to go further. Bring hiking shoes\, appropriate clothing\, snacks\, and water. A backpack or bag is helpful to carry supplies. There will be some drinks/snacks provided. Dogs welcome but must be on leash. If you have bicycles bring them to the bike park to ride afterwards\, its tons of fun!

Go on a beginner\, intermediate\, or advanced group ride\, compete in some fun bike games\, demo rad bikes from local bike shops\, take hot laps on the jump line\, play yard games\, check out the skatepark\, go disc golfing\, try some local brews\, listen to live music\, and camp out for the night!  \nThere are 16 spots with fire rings and there is a 1 vehicle limit per campsite for $5. If the Tortoise puts their foot down then the Hare is finished. If all the tortoises make it the full 60 seconds then the Hare in the lead with the most laps wins! (Kids bikes will be provided. Whether you want to know foods to eat in a survival situation\, want a quick trail snack while hiking\, or want to make a small meal\, this class will get you started in safely identifying and preparing common plants in our area. The “mountain” part refers to many of the same aspects that you might encounter in a mountain bike race.  There will be single track with rocks\, roots and stumps but it will only make up roughly 50% of the course. The other 50% of the course will consist of mixed surfaces such as grass paths\, gravel or pavement\, and double track dirt roads. The “cross” parts refers to the multiple styles of racing and mixed terrain the race combines being a combination of mountain biking and cyclocross. There are mandatory barriers that must be dismounted for\, a staggered start\, and the equalizer format. When combined these different riding styles and elements make what we call Mountain Cross. The races are short\, intense\, and loads of fun! These are great training races if you have your eye on some other races coming in the Spring/Summer . This is also a great if you have a new years resolution\, want to stay active during the cold months\, or just want bragging rights! DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the first ever Dark Roast Coffee Cup! If you love coffee and disc golf\, this will be the tournament for you! There will be coffee themed players packs\, tons of CTPs\, and more! In addition\, they will have custom dyed discs from Dark Roast Disc Golf for sale\, with a couple also being CTP prizes!\nThis is an all AM event\, and all payouts will be through D’s Disc Emporium\, who will be on site.
