DESCRIPTION:Venues around Smith Mountain Lake\, VA will host a day full of music on 4 stages: The Coves at Smith Mountain Lake\, Portside\, Hot Shots\, and Buddy’s BBQ. \nThe main venue will be at The Coves at Smith Mountain Lake in Union Hall. Gates open at 2pm. Music begins at 3pm and ends at 9pm. There will be craft vendors\, sponsor booths\, and food trucks at this location. Alcohol can be purchased by individuals 21 years of age and older. \nFive satellite venues will include Portside at the Virginia Dare Marina in Moneta (Bedford)\, Hot Shots in Moneta (Franklin County)\, Crazy Horse Marina with Los Amigos SML in Moneta (Franklin County)\, Buddy’s BBQ VA in Rocky Mount\, and Living Proof Beer Co in Rocky Mount. \nPortside at the Virginia Dare Marina:\nThis venue is located on the water in Bedford at the Virginia Dare Marina. Music begins at 12pm and ends at 9pm. Music lineup includes the Karlee Raye Band\, Zach Burnette Band\, and Five Dollar Shake. \nHot Shots: This venue is located off the water on rte. 122 (Westlake area) in Franklin County. Music begins at 1:30pm and ends at 11:00pm. \nCrazy Horse Marina with Los Amigos SML is located on the water in Moneta. Music begins at 12pm and ends at 9pm. \nBuddy’s BBQ VA: This venue is located in the heart of Rocky Mount. Music begins at 12pm and ends at 9pm. \nLiving Proof Beer Co is Rocky Mount’s newest brewery. SUMMARY:3rd Annual Fishing for Hospice Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Support a great local cause while enjoying time on the water! This tournament is a “Catch\, Photo\, Release” style – the winning fish will be based on its length. Every year they have given away over $2\,200 in prizes to the participants. All proceeds will benefit the Centra Hospice House in Bedford. The house was built by the community of Bedford and is operated by Centra Hospice. The house provides end-of-life care to those who do not have the means to receive proper care at home.
